I feel like it's a good series and going in the right direction, but you have the tendancy to leave out a lot of details that may or may not be important. I had a conversation tonight with one of my friends who happens to be a very experienced writer. I asked him to read your series and this is basically what he told me: In order to be a successful writer, you must include details of what things look like, whether it be through the use of figurative language such as a similie or just a plain description that highlights major aspects.
For example, if you had a man standing in front of you..
A: What does he look like?
B: What is he wearing?
C: Where do you think he's from?
D: Is he carrying anything?
E: His mannerism: how does this character act and behave?
If you had a room you were describing:
A: What color are the walls?
B: What are the walls/floor made out of?
C: What is in the room that really sticks out?
D: What are some other things in the room that may just be very plain?
E: What really makes that room that room?
I myself and my friend both hope you found this post helpful to your writing. It may come in handy someday.
