I walked into the office when my teacher and coach finally showed up. I didn't know what kind of training I was going to have him. The first thing I see is a boy no older than me. He sat where I did yesterday, and played on his hand held game council. He looked up and he grew a huge smile, he jumped down and ran over hugging me.
I winced scared and let out a small yelp. He was so strong. He looked it too. My feet didn't touch the ground as he hugged me and he wouldn't put me down. I struggled to speak. "Please.... Put.... Me..... Down" I finally got down and he did. Daimon walked in.
"Zack, you shouldn't treat young women like that." He said displeased but almost teasingly.
"Sorry dad" he said. "I just couldn't help it." He turned to me. "You have our dragon right?! I want to talk to her"
"Our?!" I snapped at him.
"Zack, calm down. You as well Angela. We have training today, but I do need to speak to blaze." He handed me a bag. "In there are dragon herbs. If you mix herbs then you can.... How would humans say.... Make spells. It's like how you have meds to cure illness only they have a different effect. Those in the bag will allow Blaze to take control of your body for about twenty minutes."
I stared at the bag, no really trusting Blaze yet, but I opened it and the smell got to my head and I passed out immediately.
What was that elf doing?! He made Angela pass out, he was lucky I grabbed her soul when I did. There was a new presence in the room. He had a familiar vibe to him but was yet new.
"Blaze, that's Zack, the rider of your fire side." Daimon told me. I jumped up on his back and hugged Zack. I sat on his shoulders and peered over his head so he could see my scaly face. Angela's body was getting easier to shift into a dragoniod form.
"Your my other rider!" I cheered. I sent a small electric pulse through his body so I could see how healthy he was and how fit he was for a fire rider. He was different. I felt an elves presence from him but everything pointed to him being human. It didn't make since.
"He and Angela are twins. Their parents put him up for adoption because they couldn't afford both children. The herb rider had taken only one scale, which was black, so he only got your shadow rider. When I found out that there were two I searched for Zack, who, unlike Angela, could already shift to an elf by himself. I hope that he can get Angela to shift as well." Daimon said.
"How can a human shift?" I asked.
"Humans are much more complexed than what we had originally thought. There are these.... Special humans with special abilities. Angela and Zack are two of many." He said. I couldn't believe it. Humans actually having something to them?! How could this be? I didn't believe it. I spread my wings and flew over to Daimon and landed. Human legs were so hard to balance on.
"So how are we going to train?"
"Well today I will be observing Angela and Zack as Zack exposed her to some elf customs and hopefully get her to shift." He pulled out his sword handle, but didn't have a gem in it, so there wasn't a blade. He pulled out a gem that gave off an eerie vibe. "This will allow me, Yankle and the two humans to go invisible and study them. That's how most training days will go, but this is the only training day with Zack you will have."
"What?! Why?" I whined. This wasn't fair. Finally a rider who was somewhat elf and I couldn't even train with him!
"Because I plan on getting my self a full blood and letting Angela keep you." Zack spoke. I got angry.
"You can't do that!" I snarled.
"Watch me!" He snapped back.
"You stupid boy! Your still under me you know! I actually carry shadow blood!"
"The only person above me is Angela and the current queen. Your nothing but a mix breed!" He yelled his aura was changing more like an elf, and so did his body. I the water levels in is body change, and his figure too, he had pointed ears and a tail. He must have acted like a human for Angela but I wasn't going to get such pity. Which was good cause I hate the humans anyways, but I would like my rider to like me.
"Well your nothing but a monster, born a human but destined to be an elf! How can you say wicked things to me when your messed up more than I am?!" I growled. Daimon shook his head.
"Silence to both of you. Behave yourselves." He said and put a hand on my shoulder. "I'm not going to tell Angela I'm watching her so you better keep quiet about that. Let her have control now Blaze." He said before letting go of me, and I released Angela.
